Weigh Anchor, It’s Time to Set Sail!

Ahoy! All buccaneers are welcome to try this drink at home in fact it’s high encouraged. This Spicy Musket Mule is a delicious earthy mule that fires away at your taste buds. I mean we have seriously revolutionized this drink. Now, shake off those sea legs and let’s get started. You can thank us later!

First we start off by measuring out our Revenge Rum, orgeat syrup, and lime juice and proceeding to pour each liquid into our cocktail shakers! Now that we have the easy stuff our of the way it’s time to start slicing and handpicking our herbs!

This recipe calls for fresh jalapeño and cilantro, so grab you cutting boards so we can slice up our pepper. Be sure to cut up an extra couple slices to use as garnish for later. This drink calls for 2 slices, so add that to the shaker! The cilantro comes in bunches so pick off a decent handful and add that to the shaker as well.

Now we can add our ice to the shaker, and give it a nice jig. Here we are going to let the ice do the job of pounding the natural flavors from the cilantro and jalapeño. These two ingredients do a fantastic job of adding our earthy flavors to this cocktail.

No pirate enjoys cilantro floaters so be sure to strain this cocktail before adding it to your glass! You should get a smooth cocktail streaming into your glass, and not to mention the aroma is amazing! Before we get to finish this cocktail make sure to add some ice to the cup, we’re not done just yet!

For the final ingredient we are going to top off out Spicy Musket Mule with some ginger beer! Feel free to add as much as your little pirate hearts desire. Now it’s time to garnish our drink and make her feel pretty.

For the garnish we went with 3 pineapple husks, a peeled and rolled cucumber slice, a slice of jalapeño, and a wild flower for some color. We like to get creative with our cocktails and make them a true work of art and we love to encourage you to come up with some creative ideas and share them with us as well!
