Weigh Anchor, It’s Time to Set Sail

Making the Pomegranate Privateer is smooth sailing. We would never steer our crew in the wrong direction. This drink is light and refreshing with a tinge of sweetness for those who love a fruity finish in their cocktails. We recommend batching this cocktail before your next holiday party to allow the flavors to blend together, and for easy access. These are sure to go fast, so having some pre-made is necessary to ensure your crew doesn’t go thirsty. Now, shake off those sea legs and let’s get started.

Avast ye sailors, we’ll start off with adding our Revenge Rum, Orgeat Syrup, Pomegranate Liqueur, and lime Juice to the cocktail shaker along with a scoop full of ice. Seal the shaker and shake until your drink is chilled to your liking.

We are off to a smashing start sailors! Then, Fill a tall glass with ice, and pour into the glass. You should have a nice pink color as seen in the photo above.

Next, take a mixing spoon above the cocktail and top with Campari to get a nice red drizzle down the drink. This shouldn’t be too tricky for you mate, but it’s worth the extra step to get that look!

Lastly, we’re left to garnish this cocktail. As always the garnish we chose is optional however, we used a dehydrated slice of lotus to add to the rim. You can always get creative and add a few pomegranate seeds to stir into this drink for added flare.  Shiver me Timber! Any scallywag would walk the plank to taste this delicious rum cocktail.

You should be left with something that looks like this! Great job mateys!
