Listen up sailors, because you’re better than that bottom shelf rum. Here’s What You’ll Need

- 2 oz Revenge Rum
- 3/4 oz Demerara Syrup
- 1 Egg
Garnish (Optional)
- Fresh Nutmeg

- Cocktail Shaker
- Strainer

Ahoy! All buccaneers are welcome to try this drink at home in fact it’s high encouraged. The First Mate Flip is going to be the perfect addition to your next get together. Rum lovers you will not be disappointed with this delightful drink. Now, shake off those sea legs and let’s get started. You can thank us later!
First we start off by adding our Revenge Rum, Demerara Syrup and cracking an egg into the shaker. This recipe is super simple, delicious, and quick to make so it should be smoothing sailing sailors!
Next, add ice to your shaker and close the top of the shaker. Make sure to give it a nice shake to blend all of our flavors together. The egg should create a nice foam on the top of your finished cocktail.
Once you’re done shaking the drink strain into a small Nick & Nora glass. This gives your cocktail a nice smooth finish!
Now that we’re done with the drink, it’s time to add our final touches to the cocktail. Remember sailors this is always optional so feel free to go all out or keep it simple. We added some freshly grated nutmeg to add some extra flavor as well as color to the top of the drink.
